What is the Status Monitor?
The Status Monitor will show an employees last punch action in the Time & Attendance system. This allows a supervisor or administrator to see if an employee is currently clocked in or out.
Example Usage: During fire or other emergency situations where all employees must be quickly and accurately accounted for, the status monitor can be a tool to help determine which employees were currently clocked in and would be expected to be on site and working. Those who show as clocked out may not have clocked in at all that day, could be out to lunch, or could be at a personal appointment. Org level information could also be used to indicate where an employee is working if you have employees who work remote or in the field. So even if clocked in, you could easily assess that they are not on location at that time.
